International Naturist Federation

~ Membership ~

The Van Tan club is a member-owned club with a policy of keeping the fees as low as possible. This means that the majority of the routine maintenance and club improvements must be done by the members themselves. In addition to the annual fees, members agree to contribute a minimum of 10 hours of work to their club each year.

We welcome all those interested in nude recreation, and relaxation, with like minded people, in a non-intrusive family atmosphere. Membership in the Van Tan Club includes membership in the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR), the Western Canadian Association for Nude Recreation (WCANR), and the International Naturist Federation (INF). In addition, the Van Tan Club is a member club of the Federation of Canadian Naturists (FCN).

It's easy to join the Van Tan Club. After reading our Constitution and Bylaws, (available below in PDF format) and agreeing with the philosophy and rules of the Van Tan Club, please phone our club number at:

(604) 980-2400.

Leave a message and someone from the club will contact you shortly to arrange a meeting and a tour of the club grounds. During this informal meeting you will receive a membership application form and any questions you might have will be answered.

Once your completed application form is returned, it will be reviewed by our Membership Secretary and upon acceptance you will be approved by our Executive for provisional membership. Your application will be forwarded to the next General meeting of the club for approval as a probationary member(s). Probationary membership lasts one year following that meeting. At the General Meeting one year later your name(s) will be placed before the membership for approval for full membership.

In your first year you will pay the full membership dues regardless of the time of year you join. Also, you will be required to pay a key deposit for each gate key you require (one for singles, two for couples).
