Directions:
By Bus:
Take the #210 Upper Lynn Valley bus to North Vancouver. Get off at the first stop
on McNair Dr. From there you can walk up the road (about 2km) and get through
the gates without having someone meet you with a key. Please email ahead so we know you are coming
By Car:
~ Via Lion's Gate Bridge - Take Georgia St. past Stanley Park and go over the Lion's Gate Bridge. Keep right while coming off the bridge and exit towards North Vancouver and Marine Drive. Once on Marine Dr. turn left at the next light onto Capilano Road. Stay in the right lane on Capilano Rd. and watch for a sign for #1 Hwy (Trans-Canada) East. Take #1 East and turn off at Lynn Valley Road. Stay right while exiting and head East on Lynn Valley Rd. until Mountain Highway. Turn left onto Mountain Hwy and keep driving uphill until you reach a large yellow steel gate.
This gate is usually open during the day so proceed to the next silver gate (Locked) You will need to meet a member with a key to drive beyond this point. The Club is located about 1.8 kms up this dirt road.
~ Via Second Narrows Bridge: (Ironworker's Memorial) - Take Hastings St. or 1st. Ave East to Nanaimo St. and turn left (North) on Nanaimo. Keep going and eventually Nanaimo will veer right and become McGill. Stay on McGill and follow the signs for North Vancouver (#1 Hwy West) over the bridge. Once over the bridge, stay on Hwy 1 West and take the 22a turnoff on your right. Follow this road up the hill and take the next right turn exit for Mountain Hwy. Turn right (North) onto Mountain Hwy and keep driving uphill until you reach a large yellow steel gate. This gate is usually open during the day so proceed to the next silver gate (Locked) You will need to meet a member with a key to drive beyond this point. The Club is located about 1.8 kms up this dirt road.
From The Interior of BC:
~ Once you reach Hope BC from various highways, follow #1 Hwy East to Vancouver. Then follow directions above across The Second Narrows Bridge (Ironworker's Memorial).
From the USA:
~ Via Interstate 5 - Interstate 5 North becomes Highway 99 North at the Canadian border. Keep driving until Hwy 99 meets Hwy 91 and exit right onto Hwy 91. You will go over a large suspension bridge (The Alex Fraser) and at the far end stay left and head towards Richmond / Vancouver International Airport. Exit onto Knight St. North and keep driving on Knight. Knight becomes Clark St. and keep going until you hit Broadway. Turn right (East) at Broadway and then left (North) on Nanaimo. Then follow the directions just above from Nanaimo for The Second Narrows Bridge (Ironworker's Memorial.) Keep right after this bridge and take the next exit for Mountain Hwy. Turn right (North) onto Mountain Hwy and keep driving uphill until you reach a large yellow steel gate. This gate is usually open during the day so proceed to the next silver gate (Locked) You will need to meet a member with a key to drive beyond this point.
